Hybrid surface Model
Hybrid surface models can help with your 3D modeling projects and is commonly used in medical applications, the aviation and automotive industry designs. They also support engineering assignments in maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), calibrations and part inspections can also be carried out from these models in your own CAD packages.
NURBS surface models can be created with excellent accuracy to the scan data. We encourage use of our CMM laser scanner where possible to capture your objects with greater resolution and with accuracy’s of upto +/- 2.5microns achieveable we offer the markets leading service which is handled by trained staff to ensure you get the very best results.
NURBS surface models converted from point clouds only contain surface patches and these models do not contain any feature-based parametric entities. If you require a CAD model that will involve design changes you need our Parametric modelling service which have a history based feature tree and can be exported to Native CAD files in many of the industries best know CAD packages.
